Wow. I just decided to check out the republican convention to see the happenings and I am now getting sick. First of all en’t no diversity at all. A whole conference full of old white folks. And these people actually have the gall / hutspah/ cojones to attack democrats because they can draw a crowd? I’ve really had it. Seriously, we need to reclaim our democracy cause this is crap.
Why oh why do republicans claim to be the values party when they got all kinds of crazy business going on?
How many times have I written about republicans in the closet with little kids, men,and who knows what else?
Arianna asked a great question… What If Bristol Palin Was Black?
What do you think conservatives would have to say about her? “Typical, urban youth with no sense of responsibility raised with loose morals who plans to depend on the state to take care of her child.” You know it. It’s not within dispute. That’s exactly what they would say.
Would Dr. James Dobson have said..
We have always encouraged the parents to love and support their children and always advised the girls to see their pregnancies through, even though there will of course be challenges along the way. That is what the Palins are doing, and they should be commended once again for not just talking about their pro-life and pro-family values, but living them out even in the midst of trying circumstances.
“Being a Christian does not mean you’re perfect. Nor does it mean your children are perfect. But it does mean there is forgiveness and restoration when we confess our imperfections to the Lord. I’ve been the beneficiary of that forgiveness and restoration in my own life countless times, as I’m sure the Palins have.
“The media are already trying to spin this as evidence Gov. Palin is a ‘hypocrite,’ but all it really means is that she and her family are human. They are in my prayers and those of millions of Americans.”
What would Dr. Dobson and Bill O’reily say if this was Sasha Obama (a growner up Sasha of course… )Uhm hmm.
I know these people aren’t saying Sarah has ‘executive’ experience cause she was the major of a 9000 person town. Check out what Karl Rove had to say about the possibility of Obama picking Tim Keane as VP. Listen to this.
Think about that.
The Bushes and McCains of the world are actually making me sick. Yo!!!! If you are not voting for Obama / Biden. Please leave me a comment so I can convince you.
Ay ay ay .

Ay ay ay . And so it begins.
So apparently Ms. Sarah Palin is not as nunly as J.Mac would have us believe.
Her daughter is unmarried and 5 months pregnant. AND her 5th child, may actually be her daughters?? Man. This is like the Young and the Restless. Now I say, the woman has the right to run her family any way she sees fit, but when Republicans try to be all high and mighty with their ‘morals’ this is the kind of junk that comes out.
What are the evangelicals going to do now?? What are the “women should stay home and take care of children” folks going to say? What does this do to Ms. Sarah’s apparent ability to ‘balance’ work and life. And what is Mr. Palin all about?
Seriously. This is going to be very interesting.

I just came across a Newsweek article entitled ‘Electile Dysfunction’ …which interestingly was written by a guy named Chris Dickey. Now. I’m sure that Dickey knew what he was doing when he chose that title. ( I know it says eLectile but its still funny)
So basically what Dickey is saying is that McCain (and some crazy republicans) are a bit too gun happy and have nothing to say about diplomacy. This is why they laugh at Barack … they have no concept of the REAL work involved. J.Mac is like Scarface (and not in a good way) … shoot first, ask questions later.
For most of the last eight years, “diplomacy” has been a word that President George W. Bush and his buddies in the White House locker room have made sound vaguely metrosexual, suggesting an effeminate tendency to talk instead of act, to agonize rather than attack. Diplomacy was something for (smirk) the French. Real men bombed Iraq.
Republican candidate John McCain unquestionably and unequivocally remains on Mars. And Democratic contender Barack Obama … well, it’s instructive to look at their official Web sites to see what each man has to say about that word “diplomacy.”
McCain doesn’t mention it. Not under the heading of “Iraq,” where it would seem prudent and indeed imperative to talk to that country’s neighbors; not under the heading “Border Security,” where it might seem logical to talk to this country’s neighbors, and not under the heading “National Security,” which, on Mars, is all about the virtues of military muscle-flexing: pumping up the size of the military and erecting missile shields.
The first time I went to J.Mac’s website was yesterday. (To confirm his Palin pick) but I”m shocked that he doesn’t even mention diplomacy. If people out there think this man is going to be a good president they are so mistaken. We can’t just bully our way through the world. China is going to have our as$**s (even more than they do now) if we don’t start building real relationships.
Read the article.

The big question of the day is ‘What the hell is McCain thinking?’ ‘Is he stupid or dumb’?
Well I tell you this. The Sarah Palin move is not as dumb as it appears. I think John is trying to get the ‘disgruntled’ Hillary supporters, and the ‘young’ voters who love Barack so much. He is also trying to reclaim his official post as ‘maverick’. The man who gave women a chance.
The problem is that the Reps have arguments against Barack are also going to apply to Sarah. (But this is where the spin begins. They are going to turn ‘inexperience’ into ‘fresh ideas’) But the brilliance is that there may not be enough time between now and November to find Sarah’s Rev. Wright. If people like her ‘enough’ they will vote for McCain and think about the consequences later.
This is going to be very interesting. What are the feminists going to do? Shyt what is Geraldine going to say now? (Remember when she said peeps were only voting for ‘Rack cause he’rn a black man?)
If you haven’t already made a donation to Barack’s campaign today… you should do it now.
Ok. I had to take a break from writing because of school, but I guess I’m back again. Buckle your seat belts .. its going to be a crazy 60 days!
