6 More Weeks of Winter

Between Heath Ledger, Ninja Warrior, and my latest Hillary/Barack rant I know I have been all over the place this week.

The thing that cracked me up this week was the hoopla over the darn groundhog, or woodchuck or whatever its called. So the whole story is that they have a famous groundhog named Punxsutawney Phil who comes out from his little groundhog condo on Feb.2 to tell us how much longer we have to endure the winter. If he comes out and sees his shadow then there will be 6 more weeks of winter and if he doesn’t see his shadow it means winter will be over soon.

The hog in Pennsylvania predicted that there will be 6 more weeks of winter…but wait… apparently he is not the only predictor. New York has its own hog named Staten Island Chuck who predicted that winter will be over soon. Man. How many of these prophetic hogs are there?? What did the rest of them have to say?

Apparently the hogs are only right about 37% of the time and this year a quarter of the hogs said more winter. Soooo….. all this hoopla and what have I learned? Maybe winter will be over soon, may be not. RIDICULOUS!

Even more ridiculous that I’ve devoted 15 minutes of MY life to this. 🙂 Ay ay ay
